ICICI Bank has announced significant changes to its credit card features and fee structure, effective October 1, 2025. These updates impact various transaction types, including Dynamic Currency Conversion, skill-based gaming, wallet loads, and cash payments at branches.
Key Changes Effective October 1, 2025:
- Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) Fee: A 3.5% fee will apply to transactions conducted in Indian currency at international locations or with merchants located in India but registered in a foreign nation.
- Exceptions: 2% for Emeralde Private, 0.99% for MakeMyTrip ICICI Bank (not Signature/Platinum), 1.49% for Times Black, and 1.99% for Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Cards.
- Skill-Based Gaming Transactions: A 1% fee will be charged on transactions of ₹5,000 or more.
- Wallet Load Transactions: A 1% fee will be charged on wallet loads of ₹10,000 or more.
- Cash Payment at Branches: A fee of ₹150 will be levied per payment transaction.
