  • Post with Purpose: Before posting a deal, ask yourself: “Is this genuinely a good offer? Is it still valid?” A little research goes a long way.
  • Check Before You Post: A quick search can show you if a deal has already been shared. If it has, consider adding new information or a helpful comment to the existing topic instead of creating a new one.
  • Be Respectful: Respect the effort others put into finding and sharing deals. Even if an offer isn’t for you, it might be exactly what someone else is looking for. Disagree with the quality of a deal, but don’t attack the person who posted it.

Posting Deals, Loots, and Offers

To make deals easy to find and use, please follow these simple rules when posting:

  • Clear and Descriptive Titles: A good title is everything. Include the product/store name and the specific discount.
    • Good: Myntra: Flat 60% off on Nike running shoes
    • Bad: Awesome deal check it out!
  • Provide Details: In the post body, include a direct link to the offer, the coupon code, expiration dates, and any important terms and conditions.
  • No Referral/Affiliate Links in Titles: You may include affiliate or referral links in the body of your post, but they must be clearly disclosed. For example, write “(This is an affiliate link)” next to the link.
  • Ethical “Tricks” Only: While we encourage clever ways to save money, do not post methods for stealing, exploiting system bugs in a malicious way, or engaging in any illegal activity. If you’re unsure, it’s better to not post it.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

Debate and discussion about deals are welcome, but they must be constructive.

  • Criticize Ideas, Not People: It’s fine to say, “This deal isn’t great because the product is cheaper elsewhere,” but it’s not fine to say, “You’re an idiot for posting this.”
  • Avoid:
    • Name-calling or personal attacks.
    • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content.
    • Baseless claims that a deal is fake without providing evidence.
  • Instead, provide helpful feedback. If you know a better deal, share it! If a coupon has expired, politely let others know.

If You See a Problem, Flag It

Our moderators are here to help, but we rely on the community to be our eyes and ears.

When you see bad behavior, a fake deal, or a post that breaks our rules, don’t reply . Replying only gives it more attention. Just flag it. If a post receives enough flags, our moderation team will take action.

Moderators reserve the right to remove any content and any user account for any reason at any time to protect the community.

  • No Cross-Posting: Don’t post the same deal in multiple topics.
  • Use the ‘Like’ Button: Instead of posting “+1” or “Thanks,” use the Like button to show your appreciation. It keeps the conversation focused.
  • Don’t Sign Your Posts: Your profile information is automatically attached to every post you make.
